Auto-fill Overview

The Auto-fill features facilitate adding Logins, Card and Identities to WALLX Enterprise Vault.

Install Browser Extension: provides the Auto-fill feature in the Web Browser.  The Browser Extension is currently available for Chrome and Firefox.

Before using the Browser Extension it is advisable to Disable Browser Password Manager & Export Saved Passwords.  Browser Password Managers are generally considered less secure than dedicated solutions like WALLIX Enterprise Vault.

The Browser Extensions warns users before auto-filling an HTTP site when HTTPS is expected based on that item’s saved URI(s).

The The Browser Extension facilitates:

• Easy access to the Vault.
• Automatically adding Logins and other data to the Vault.
• Logins can be auto-filled to a web page using values saved in the Vault.
• Cards, Identities and Custom Fields can also be auto-filled.
• Other options are available in the Browser Extension such as Badge Counter, TOTP Copy after Auto-fill or Auto-fill for iframes.
